It was a weird sentiment, driving around looking for parking, weaving across campus through throngs of backpack-wearing mostly young adults, avoiding eye-contact with all of the societies and clubs and groups that are trying to lure people in. "Here I am, back on campus," I thought to myself. Only this isn't my campus. I feel like a stranger here, an impostor. This isn't where I go to school. I go to school at UC Irvine. Where is Ring Road? Where are the anteaters? But I graduated already.
So I guess I'm a Hornet, now. 7 classes a week. Huzzah!
I like that feeling though. You don't have to behave a certain way. You have excuses.
