Hot Air Balloon how-to: You'll need acrylic paint, glass ornaments, and a bit of water.

 Mix water and paint together (a drop or two of water per tablespoon of paint) and pour about a tablespoon into the ornament.

 Cover the open hole with your thumb. Shake the ornament, using your other hand to tap it until all blank spaces are covered.

 Allow excess paint to drip out.

 If you had too much water in your paint, you'll notice that it begins to run down the sides creating thin coating and a lot of excess paint pooling. Drain the excess paint, allow it to dry, and then reapply your paint with less water next time around.

No how-to decorate. Look up pictures of hot air balloons online and get creative. I used hot glue to apply beads, sequins and decorative trim, as well as colored paint pens to add finer details. Have fun! Hot glue shortened skewers to the metal part of the ornament and push them all the way into the cupcake for desserts that will soar to new heights!
